At Burtonís it is our goal to help assist you in acquiring the most extraordinary hand made furniture available. We approach each project in a completely individual way. Whether you are interested in contemporary design or a classic reproduction, we have the ability to meet your project needs. There are a variety of ways for you to explore the possibility of having a piece or pieces of custom furniture made:
Our custom design services are the most frequent choice of our clients. Providing us with some basic information and measurements, we can create a design that works for you and your homeís design theme. We would need basic information about the function of the piece that you are interested in having made, its basic overall size, the species of materials (wood and/or veneers), wood finish or painted and a general idea of the style that interests you. With this basic information we can give you some general ideas about the possibilities and possible costs.
For smaller items/projects there is no cost associated with providing a rough cost range for the project. If the cost range estimate is acceptable, we can then proceed to produce concept drawings and confirm the project from that point.
Larger items/projects that will require extensive research and background work are subject to a retainer for the design, research and development of the estimate. Retainers are applied to the item/project once the order is confirmed.
We can also provide basic cost projections based on designs or renderings submitted by you or others on your behalf, photographs or magazine tear sheets, etc. Generally, there is no cost associated with providing a rough cost projection.
We always welcome our potential clients to schedule an appointment and visit our Studio.
